The champion used his longer lever to attack Alizhan’s wrist before the match could settle inside. Once Vitaly had the hand, the finish arrived quickly. The result backed up the pre-match case that Alizhan could not hook Vitaly without first surviving the outside lane.

A 4-0 score can hide how specific the answer was. Vitaly denied the entry. Alizhan had no useful second position after that.

Kamil and Adam Had to Adjust

Kamil versus Georgi produced the fight of the night. Kamil opened with a fast press outside the strap, but Georgi changed the match once the hands were bound. His back pressure stretched Kamil away from the easy shoulder line and forced longer exchanges.

The strangest turn came when Kamil moved from a flat press into an open-arm defense. He kept his pronation alive, compromised Georgi’s wrist, and found his way back to offense. Georgi answered with his own press during the fight, which made the final 4-2 result feel earned rather than inevitable.

The win settled the biggest question inside the Kamil and Georgi matchup. Kamil carried more than one lane when Georgi stopped the first one.

Adam Wawrzynski also needed five rounds against Nurdaulet Aidarkhan. Nurdaulet’s speed created the early danger. Adam’s containment took over once he secured the hook, while elbow fouls kept changing the available starts. Adam escaped with the 3-2 win and a strong case for a higher-ranked opponent.

Hand Control Ruled the Rest of the Card

Oleg Zhokh retained the left-arm welterweight title over Luka Tsinadze. Luka never found useful power against Oleg’s hand. Daniel Procopciuc defended the left-arm lightweight belt against Vachagan Hovhannisyan, then called for another meeting with Oleg.

Ibragim Sagov ran through Yordan Tsonev with an immediate press. Krasimir Kostadinov controlled Nugo Chikadze in the hook. Eldar Bubenko took Paul Linn’s hand with an explosive toproll and used the win to call out Todd Hutchings.

Gabriela Vasconcelos swept Irina Driaeva 3-0. Zurab Tavberidze overpowered Ryan Belanger inside. Tim Tallmadge beat Vala Ichqiti, and Vlad Krasovskis swept Artem Popov.

That collection of finishes showed why East vs West remains the sport’s central proving ground. Weak positions receive no time to recover.
